             Lama Energy is an independent oil and gas operating, exploration and development company located in Midland, Texas.   

             Lama was formed in March 2006 with the specific goal of developing and managing oil and gas projects from inception through development. With over 68 years of combined oil and gas experience we recognize that this can be achieved through either the acquisition market or through the drill bit. At this time, with commodity prices at sustained highs, we believe a greater rate of return can be achieved by drilling development and stepout wells. Geographically our working experience encompasses Texas, New Mexico, Louisiana (both onshore and in the water), California, Arizona, Colorado, Montana, Wyoming, Oklahoma, Mississippi, and Alabama. Major accomplishments during the last 12 years include-

             1. Drilled and completed over 286 horizontal Austin Chalk wells

             2. Management of a 175 square mile 3D shoot with the subsequent drilling and completion of 8 Pinnacle Reef wells

             3. Acquisition of 54,000 net acres in the Central Texas Bossier Play

             Our commitment is to maximize profitability. Ultimately, it is our equity ownership in these projects which aligns our interests with that of our partners.  Currently Lama operates oil and gas properties in the Austin Chalk trend.
